Meet The Doctors


Dr. Zuleika M Ghodsi

Dr. Zuleika M. Ghodsi is a Board Certified Comprehensive Ophthalmologist who over the past 18 years has established a stellar clinical and surgical reputation on the Maryland Eastern Shore. 

Capable of providing the full spectrum of complete eye care, Dr. Ghodsi's expertise ranges from performing macular degeneration and glaucoma exams to perfecting advanced cataract and oculoplastic surgery. 

Dr. Ghodsi graduated from Northwestern University with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology with emphasis on Neurobiology and Physiology.  She completed her medical school education at the University of Iowa College of Medicine and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha National Honor Society.  Dr. Ghodsi completed her surgical residency training from the prestigious Department of Ophthalmology at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics (UIHC) which was recently named a Clinical Center of Excellence and perennially ranks as one of the top programs in the country by Ophthalmology Times

Dr. Ghodsi is extremely active in the community and is an active governing board member of the United Fund of Talbot County and the Country School. She is also a member of the Lions Club and is a strong supporter of CASA and Habitat for Humanity.


Dr. Whitney Fahrman

Dr. Whitney Fahrman grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.  She graduated from the New England College of Optometry and completed her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.  With over 10 years in the field of Optometry, Dr. Fahrman has vast experience in providing comprehensive vision care.  Dr. Fahrman specializes in contact lens needs, medical eye care for both adults and children as well as annual vision care. 

Dr. Fahrman has been an active member of the Maryland Optometric association for over 11 years and currently serves as 1st Vice President along with leading the Eastern Shore Chapter.  She is passionate about optometry and the care provided to her patients.


Dr. Brett R. Kline, OD

Dr. Kline is a native of Pennsylvania and received his Bachelor’s degree in Biology at Temple University in Philadelphia.  Afterward, he attended Salus University in Pennsylvania where he received his doctorate degree in Optometry.  He was elected into the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Society, and was a recipient of the Conforma Laboratories Award at Salus for demonstrating clinical excellence in contact lens fitting.  He is also a current member of the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Kline performs comprehensive eye exams for both adults and children, diagnoses and manages ocular disease cases and contact lens fits including, soft, RGP and keratoconus specialty fittings.

Dr. Kline lives in the Maryland area with his wife, Marina, daughter, Poppy and their labradoodle, Palmer.  In his free time, he enjoys golfing and attending community outreach events with his wife.
